UPSC CMS 2019 Exam dates (Tentative):
- Publication of notification will be from March 2019
- Beginning of the application process from March 2019
- Last date for the application process from April 2019
- Admit card Download 3 week prior to Exam
- Examination date: June 2019
- Declaration of the results September/October 2019
UPSC CMS 2019 Application Form:
Candidates can apply for the CMS 2019-20 Examination through the official website. In all, there will be two stages in the application process, Stage I and Stage II. In stage I, candidates are required for registering and entering the details like educational details address info, and personal info. After getting done with this move to the second stage, according to which candidates are required to choose the examination centre of their choice, make application fee payment, upload the scanned images and lots more.
CMS Paper I Exam Pattern:
There will be two papers in all and the Exam Pattern For UPSC MCS Paper I are as follows:
- General Ability for 30 marks
- General Medicine for 70 marks
- Paediatrics for 20 marks
- There will be negative marking for wrong answers. The time for the exam duration will be 2 hours.
Pattern Surgery:
- Surgery for 40 marks
- Gynaecology & Obstetrics for 40 marks
- Preventive Social and Community Medicine for 40 marks
Those who clear with the written examination will be given a call for personal interview. There will be no negative marking for Exam II as well just as with Paper 1.

Indian Society, Polity, Economy, Indices and the Human Development, Programmes, economy, The effects of changing demographic trends on health, environment and society, Indian Agriculture, Industry, Transportation, and Service Sectors, Natural and man-made disasters and their management, Food distribution & adulteration, Recent trends in Science, Storage of Food and their relevance to public health and Technologies, exploitation, Basic concepts of Ecology, Natural Resources, conservation and related issues, and Environment and their impact on health.
Syllabus For General Medicine:
Cardiology, Gastro-intestinal, Neurology, Hematology, Endocrinology, Genito-Urinary, Respiratory diseases, Metabolic disorders, Infectious/Communicable Diseases, Nutrition / Growth, Musculoskeletal System, Psychiatry, Diseases of the Skin (Dermatology), General.

Growth and development, Normal newborn, Short stature, precocious and delayed puberty, impaired learning, low birth weight is newborn, Neonatology, sick newborn, developmental delay, Nutrition, complementary feeding, Lactation management and Renal.

UPSC CMS 2019 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate applying for UPSC CMS examination need to citizen of India
- Citizens from Nepal and Bhutan also applicable for applying for the examination
Examination centre will be almost all parts of India such as Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bangalore, Bareilly, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Itanagar etc.
