NEET 2019 Application Form, Dates, Fee, Procedure
The National Testing Agency has released NEET Application Forms from November 1, 2018. Intermediate graduates (10+2) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination can apply online at nta.ac.in. With the introduction of NTA, the registration fee is expected to change as well. Earlier, the application fee for General & OBC category was INR 1400 and for SC/ ST category it was INR 750.
This year, NEET 2019 is scheduled for May 5 in offline (pen-paper) mode. In case, an applicant makes any error or mistake while filling in the online form, a one time form correction facility will be provided to rectify the same. Read on to know more about the registration dates, procedure and other related information.
- NIOS Candidates are now eligible to fill the application form for NEET 2019.
- Candidates from UR category aged above 25 years and those with Biology as an additional subject may also apply for the exam.
- The conducting body has increased NEET Exam Cities from 84 cities in 2017 to 150 in 2018.
NEET 2019 Application Dates
The NTA has announced the exam dates for the NEET 2019 examination. Candidates can check the table below to know about all the important dates of NEET 2019.
Documents required while filling NEET (UG) 2019 Application Form
- Class 10th Marksheet
- Class 12th Marksheet
- Any one of these photo-identity proofs: Aadhaar Card number, Passport Number, ration card number, bank account etc
- Scanned images of passport sized photograph and signature, and other documents (if applicable)
- Credit/Debit card or Net Banking details (for online payment)
- A valid mobile number
- A valid email address
Before applying for the exam, students should download the NEET(UG) 2019 information bulletin and replica of application and read it carefully. From 2019, Aadhaar card will not be mandatory for NEET.

- Fill the online application form and generate a registration number
The first step requires students to download the application form. Before filling the form, students can check the seat reservation for different caste categories and eligibility criteria. While filling the application form, students need to fill all the required details very carefully.
At this step, aspirants can also review the filled in application details. In case of any question filled in incorrectly, you can just edit the details by clicking on ‘Back’ button. If the information is appropriate and correct, students can click on 'Final submission' button to go to the next step. Students will also receive an OTP on the registered mobile number and email ID.
a. Upload photo and signature
At this step, students need to upload their images, signature and right hand index finger impression in the following format:
- Image: In JPEG format between 10 KB and 100 KB in size
- Signature: In JPEG format between 3KB and 20 KB in size
- Right hand index finger impression: In JPEG format between 3 KB and 20 KB in size
b. Make fee payment
The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode.
Online mode: Application fee can be paid via Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking
- Offline mode: Application fee can be paid via e-challan by depositing fee in CBSE’s bank account in Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and HDFC Bank generated at the time of online registration.

d. Print confirmation page
After successfully completing the above steps, students need to generate the confirmation page by clicking the 'Confirmation Page'.
Documents To Preserved After Submitting NEET 2019 Application Form
Proof of payment of NEET application fees
- Printout of NEET 2019 confirmation page
- 6 to 8 copies of photograph uploaded
- Copy of system generated Self-Declaration in respect of candidate from J&K who have opted for seats under 15% All India Quota
NEET Application Correction Window
Candidates applying for NEET 2019 will get a chance to edit their application forms. The application correction facility for NEET will be open from November 14 till January 31, 2019.
During this time, aspirants will get the time to make changes in their NEET application form. The information submitted through this correction window will be considered as final NEET application form 2019.
Please note that candidates will not be able to change the following details during NEET application correction facility:
- Gender
- Category
- Nationality
- State of Eligibility
- Person with disability
- Medium, Examination Cities
